Here at Cook's Labradors we love our dogs as part of our family. Many of our Mommas have retired from breeding or passed on but they will always be loved. Here are our Damns that may have mothered the puppies you call family!

The sweet lady that started it all, the matriarch of Cook's Labradors that will be forever missed. Reegan was daddy's little girl, happy to follow him everywhere. She was not as athletic as our other dogs, she plays when she wants, but is usually found lying wherever daddy is. Reegan had more of the "English" style in her. She had a stockier build although her Sire was comparable to a Great Dane in size and many of her pups have grown to be quite large themselves. Reegan was OFA hip certified.

Remi is Elizabeth's dog and has currently whelped Five litters. She is the tallest of our females, standing about two inches taller than Reegan. Remi is athletic, regularly playing with the dogs in the yard, chasing the four wheeler on the trails and she has gone hiking where she was very sure footed when walking down a very steep embankment and then enjoyed swimming in the stream. She also spends time with Elizabeth at the fire department where she is very well behaved. She is a wonderful, attentive mother.

Rayne has produced Five litters. She is also daddy's little princess and can often be found near his side. She loves to play with Remi whenever they are together. She has a much smaller build than any of the other dogs. She is skinnier, with a shorter face and small ears. The process for OFA certification will begin soon.

Rosie was, Patti's second daughter, Heather's pup. She was purchased at the age of 4 and came from unhealthy conditions so she wass more timid than our other pups. She bonded very well with heather and enjoyed playing with all the other dogs, especially Ruger and Remi. She had successfully whelped one litter in her past, before coming to us, and two with us. Rosie was our only chocolate with white markings. Sadly she succumbed to cancer.

River was our first silver lab. She has produced many litters for us with beautiful puppies. She is a super loveable dog, always looking for love from anyone around. She has earned her retirement and a life of lazing around receiving lots of love and snuggles.
